Publish a Place

A Place must have a status of Published to be considered live within the Loyalty platform.

To set the status of a Place to Published:

  1. Select Admin from the top navigation bar, then select Locations > Places from the side navigation menu. The Places screen is displayed, with List View selected by default.

  2. Search for and select the desired Place ( see Search for a Place for more information on the available search options). The Place Details screen is displayed, with the Definition tab selected by default.

  3. Within the header area of the screen, click the Edit icon in the top-right corner. The Edit Place pop-up window is displayed.

  1. From the Status drop-down menu, select Published.

  2. Click Save.

After publishing a Place, you must deploy metadata for the changes to take effect. See Deploy Places Metadata for more details on this process.
